hope

Hi guys…you’re just going to have to settle for all being guys.  I’m sorry, I’m not from the south and “people” just doesn’t sound right either, and so “guys” it is…that includes everyone, just note now, for later ;0)

Ohh and also, as it relates to same, the plural…umm…let’s see…the plural possessive (?) for “you guys” is “your guyses”.  I know.  It’s ridiculous.  I know.  But, it’s true.  It’s your guyses…no wait…it’s your guys’!

That’s it…like, my humanity, and then your guys’ humanity…you see?  Alright, well anyways, here’s my best video yet!  That’s true too!  I’m getting better…I mean I think I am…I actually haven’t even watched this one yet because it’s like more than 20 minutes long and it’s uploading and I just finished it…

But, it’s about a few things, I mean, I speak to a few things in the video — let’s see, namely:

  1. What it means to be bipolar (in terms of computers, and then also in terms of crayons, yes crayons, like umm…Crayola…yep!); and
  2. Why I am doing this advocacy work — even though it could negatively affect my “otherwise”, “potentially” “bright” future (as has been said my way); and
  3. Why I have no friends in town and am sitting at home on Friday night in my parents’ basement at 32-years-old even though I’m a smart, bright and decent looking individual; and
  4. How awesome any kid is, who may be at home on Friday night too with the same struggles, and why, and what I am doing to make this world a better place for them.

And I think that’s about it.  I don’t know.  I haven’t watched it yet.  You’ll have to let me know what you think.  Props to all the kids with mental illness though tonight, who are making it through to see one more day.  I’m working to make this a better place for you…you just gotta give me a little more time…I’m doing everything I can, but I just need a little more time…

Things are gonna get better here…I promise you that.  I will make sure of it…just keep maintaining for now, and we will get to see our brighter days.  You can do it.  I know you can…  And in the meantime, watch my video and give me feedback ;0)

xoxxo,

Marissa —
